Community Coffee Co.

If you’re an early bird seeking an early morning coffee, small hidden espresso bar and coffee roastery Community Coffee Co is the place to go. A relative new-comer but already a popular favourite with locals, Community is hidden away in the laneway off the carpark sitting between Barker Rd and Churchill Ave in a re-purposed warehouse.

Beans are available for sale in 250g or 1kg bags, both online or in-store.

Beans are sourced almost exclusively from South America, including Peru, Mexico, Bolivia and Colombia, and all roasted on-site.

Community also serves up toasties, fresh muffins and Greek sweets for you to enjoy with their specialty roasted coffee. You may even find yourself lucky enough to score one of the famous North Street Store cinnamon buns, which they stock from time to time. Even better, on Fridays they occasionally cook up lamb on an open spit for lunch, starting around 12pm and selling out by about 12.30pm, so be quick.
