Community Involvement

How you can be involved in the only comprehensive guide to Subiaco.

About Streets of Subi

Subiaction, in partnership with Scoop Digital, has developed an exciting new website and communications platform for the promotion of Subiaco, including Daglish, Shenton Park and Jolimont.

Streets of Subi is both a comprehensive reference guide and tool for facilitating community engagement, and a powerful marketing tool promoting Subiaco as a bustling, go-to suburb for locals and visitors to Perth: a leafy, sophisticated walking city, full of heritage buildings, galleries, museums, boutique shopping, alfresco restaurants, cafes, small bars and niche providores. We know it, and so should everyone else!

Content is growing daily and already includes more than 400 listings and articles, making Streets of Subi the most comprehensive guide to Subiaco. Even for long-term residents like us, you will be amazed at how much you didn’t know.

All communication should be sent to: [email protected].

Your Free Listing

Listings are free for all business, community groups & event operators. Approval requires listing content quality meets the same requirements set by Scoop for all listings on the Scoop Media Network.

Your listing will also appear on scoop.com.au and as many as 30 websites on the Scoop Media Network, which showcases more than 11,000 events, business, attractions and community listings each year.

Sponsorship & Promotion Opportunities

This project relies on the support of local businesses. In return you will receive significant recognition and promotion through the Streets of Subi and Scoop Media Networks, which in combination includes more than 70k subscribers and social media followers. All enquiries should be directed to [email protected].

Content for social media

Streets of Subi is a website for locals by locals and we need your help to uncover the very best of Subiaco.

Streets of Subi communications includes posts and updates to more than 17k Facebook followers and a regular newsletter. Send through your promotions, updates, favourite things, ideas, opinions, images and links to [email protected].

Stories for blogs

We also need your stories for blog-style articles (along with images and video) to be posted on the website, social media and newsletter. The best articles will also be posted through the Scoop media network. All ideas will be reviewed by the Content Team at Scoop. Approved content will:

  • Provide a unique insight and style & quality of content not widely available from other media.
  • Be relevant to residents and workers in Subiaco. Special consideration will be given to content likely to attract residents from surrounding suburbs and visitors to Perth.
  • Appeal to an audience that includes families and individuals aged 25 years and older looking for value and quality of experience rather than straight discounts.
  • Align with the brand and core value proposition of the Streets of Subiaco (see About Us page).

Unless truly unique (e.g. Perth’s only vegan supermarket), business and store profiles will be avoided as they present as advertorial and replicate what is already in listings. However, articles that relate to where to find ‘collective’ services likely to appeal to users will be considered e.g. Where to find Pho in Subi; Bakeries that serve gluten-free bread.

We look forward to hearing from you.
