After standing as no man’s land for months, Subiaco’s new hotel has found an owner in Vibe Hotels, managed by Sydney’s TFE Hotels.
Open Thursday October 1st, the 168-room hotel located on the corner of Railway Road and Alvan Street is the first major hotel brand in Subi. At 12 storeys high, the hotel is the tallest of all the buildings in its precinct and offers panoramic views of Subiaco and Perth’s CBD.
Sitting pretty between the high street and business district of Subi, Vibe Hotel Subiaco is expected to attract holiday-goers as well as those here for business. Holiday-goers can relax with a cocktail in hand at the hotel’s rooftop pool, or go for a stroll into Subi for dinner or a night out. Businessmen and women alike will also be well catered for, with the hotel offering internal conference rooms, as well as being only a short walk to Subi’s business district.
Opening in conjunction with the hotel is the rooftop Storehouse Restaurant and Bar and the ground floor St Marks Road Co. café. The latter is a successful Sydney based café expanding into WA for the first time, offering a new brunch option for hotel-goers as well as Subi locals. If you’re after a more formal dinner option, the rooftop bar will be serving up Modern Australian cuisine using local produce with a side of cocktails against the backdrop of the Perth city skyline. The bar and restaurant will be open for lunch from Thursday to Saturday, and open for dinner from Monday to Saturday. Plus, they’ll be serving up $6 beers and house wines between 4-6pm for happy hour each day they are open.
Available for bookings now, the hotel offers rooms for between one and five occupants, so it’s certainly family-friendly. Rooms start from $209, but they are currently offering 20% off as an opening special for a limited time only!
