Partnered with culinary icons Boucla Café and gourmet deli Urban Soul Food, Cellarbrations is hosting Subi’s first ‘Celebrate Subi’ Long Table Dinner. Aiming to showcase the best of Subi’s food scene, this is the perfect opportunity for locals to celebrate the closing of what’s been a very interesting year as well as catching up with friends.
Taking place Saturday, December 5 from 4pm onwards on the grass area outside Cellarbrations, the long table dinner will be under fairy lights and stars in the first week of summer breeze.
The event features an elegant four-course menu paired with Brown Brothers Patricia premium wine selection and local business icons, Boucla and Urban Soul Food, with their cooking expertise.
On arrival, guests will be greeted with canapes provided by Boucla along with a Patricia Pinot Noir Chardonnay Brut 2013. Take this time to say your hellos and have a chin wag before being seated for your first course, a Margaret River chorizo and pea citrus risotto with grilled prawn, paired with a Patricia Chardonnay 2018. For the second entree, Urban Soul Foods will showcase their skills with a homemade carpaccio with rocket, kohlrabi and basil sorbet coupled with a Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon 2015. The main and third course is West Australian crushed potatoes and slow braised beef with grilled halls suzette accompanied with a Patricia Shiraz 2015. To finish, guests with a sweet tooth will love the lemon souffra with raspberry coulis, pistachios and preserved lemons, served with a Patricia Noble Riesling 2015.
Cellarbrations is well known for hosting community events, such as their weekly Friday night wine, beer and liquor tastings. Mainly attended by locals, the tastings are in the little-known tasting room within Cellarbrations and are often co-hosted by local winemakers and brewers.
