Subiaco Blooms Trail
For those of you wanting to stay socially distanced this Mother’s Day, take mum for a walk through the streets of Subiaco to view three massive floral installations from talented Perth florists. Enjoy a walk beneath the blooms with a floating arrangements in an alleyway, a piano studded with stunning flowers and a large-scale tropical-themed piece. Got some great shots of the installations? Running from Friday, May 7 until Sunday, May 9 Subiaco will be filled with the sweet scents of flowers in bloom. Poppy’s Flower Truck in Pop-Up Sqaure
Head to the Pop-Up Square on Rokeby Road and you will find Perth’s favourite blue, vintage truck packed to the brim Subiaco-inspired flower arrangements. Fom 11.30 on Friday, 7 May Poppy’s Flower Truck will be handing out free posies for you to give mum, or take home to your loved one. Get Creative at Rokeby Loft
Enjoy a relaxing morning of coffee, cake and paints with mum at Rokeby Loft. Be guided by local landscape artist, Ellie Biggs, as you paint your choice of picture and enjoy the beautiful gallery setting. High Tea at Eli and Matt Patisserie
Eli and Matt Patisserie will be hosting a classic high tea fo mum, with traditonal trimmings like finger sandwiches and fluffy scones wih housemade jam, as well as indulgent raspberry macrons, lemon meringue tartlets and rasberrry eclairs. Served with gormet tea from French company, Mariage Frères, or barista-made coffee, spoil mum even more by adding a bottle of sparkling wine (with no corkage fee for BYO!). Tea is served at 1pm, with the seating lasting 90 minutes.
Mother’s Day Lunch
If you would like to treat mum to something more substantial, head to Storehouse for a mouth-watering three course lunch. Mums can sip on a complimentary glass of sparkling wine upon arrival as they drink in the stunning rooftop views of Perth’s skyline.
